When is the party?
Early December at Groot Constantia. The exact date for 2026 will be announced when tickets open on Quicket in October — watch the booking page or your dashboard.
Who is the party for?
Families with children aged 3 to 8. Older siblings are welcome along, but the gifts, the show and the Father Christmas moment are pitched at the younger band.
How do I get tickets?
Sign up on the website first to create a profile and get into the dashboard. When tickets open on Quicket in October we email everyone with an account. Tickets fly fast — have your card ready.
How much do tickets cost?
Ticket prices vary by type (family size and configuration) and are confirmed on the Quicket listing each year. The goal is to keep them affordable while raising what Wynberg Rotaract needs for the year’s community projects.
Can I bring alcohol?
No — not a drop. Groot Constantia’s licence depends on it. Bring a thermos of hot chocolate instead; it gets cold.
What if I can’t make it anymore?
Tickets aren’t transferable or swappable. If there’s a real problem, email [email protected] and we’ll see what we can do — but please don’t plan on a refund.
Where do the funds go?
Every ticket sold funds Wynberg Rotaract’s community projects for the year ahead — literacy, food security, youth leadership, environment, and more. You’re not just buying an evening; you’re funding the work.
What should I bring?
Quicket tickets, a wrapped ‘special item’ for each child, a picnic supper, warm clothes, cash for Mr Plod’s hat, and any toys, canned food or old clothes you’d like to donate. Full list on the castle rules page.
How do I volunteer?
Email [email protected] with a sentence on what you’d like to do — marshalling, check-in, helping at the castle, or just wherever a hand is needed.
Where exactly is it?
Groot Constantia Wine Farm, Constantia, Cape Town. Park where the marshals direct you — we won’t publish a map until check-in day because the layout changes year to year.
