Uncle Paul’s Christmas Party
An annual tradition at the castle on Groot Constantia Wine Farm. Magical evenings for families with little ones aged 3 to 8.
An annual tradition since the early years.
Uncle Paul’s Christmas Party is an annual tradition hosted by the Rotaract Club of Wynberg, set against a picturesque castle at Groot Constantia Wine Farm. This is Wynberg Rotaract’s primary fundraiser, enabling us to carry out community projects throughout the following year.
Uncle Paul’s success is the result of dedicated effort over many years. Your ongoing support allows Wynberg Rotaract to continue its mission of serving the community year after year — thank you for being part of this cherished tradition.
From the front gate to the magic.
Check-in starts at 6pm sharp. Please don’t arrive before 5:30pm. Once you’ve checked in, you stay with your car until tractor rides begin and your family is taken to the loading bays for the ride up to the castle.
-
Drive in
Roll up to Groot Constantia Wine Farm just before 6pm. Our marshals direct you straight to the check-in lane.
-
Check in
We verify your ticket, collect your child’s ‘special item’ and any donations for the less fortunate, then show you to your parking bay.
-
Stay with the car
Picnic supper, warm clothes, hot drinks — this is your spot until tractor time. No wandering on the farm.
-
The tractor ride
Families ride up to the castle for Father Christmas, the special item reveal, and a night the kids won’t forget.

Built for families with children aged 3 to 8.
The whole evening — from the tractor ride to the Father Christmas moment — is shaped for younger kids. Bringing older siblings? They’re welcome along, but the gifts and the show are pitched at the 3–8 age band.
Volunteer. Donate. Spread the word.
Every Christmas, dozens of Wynberg Rotaract volunteers and friends pull the night together — from marshalling arrivals to keeping the magic running at the castle. Want in? We’d love to hear from you.
